He completed fellowship training in sports medicine at the Detroit Medical Center Sports Medicine Institute and has experience working with professional sports organizations, including the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Red Wings.
His background includes a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a Master of Science in Clinical Research. Dr. Valenzuela specializes in both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic treatments and is dedicated to helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy.
